Hiram Ritchie 
Hiram was born in 1813 in Virginia.1 Hiram's father was Alexander Crockett Ritchie and his mother was Elizabeth Susan Grigsby. His maternal grandfather was Benjamin Grigsby and his maternal grandmother is Elizabeth Duncan. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Thomas Grigsby, James Monroe, John, Nicholas, Gabriel, Oriah, Alexander Crockett, Naoma, Elizabeth, Mary and Nancy.
