Elias Ritchie 
Elias was born in 1848.1 Elias' father is Hiram Ritchie and his mother was Euphemy Pharbia Patrick. His paternal grandparents were Alexander Crockett Ritchie and Elizabeth Susan Grigsby. He had five brothers and eight sisters, named Alexander, Marcum, Christopher Columbus, John C., James, Elizabeth, Lucinda, Yanta, Letty, Mary, Catherine, Clarissa and Martha. He was the seventh youngest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 38 in 1886.1 General Notes
