Piercy Peurifoy 
Piercy was born on August 23rd, 1804 in Georgia.1 Piercy's father was William Peurifoy and her mother was Mary Brothers. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas, Sr. Purifoy and UNKNOWN Sallie. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Archibald, Tillman, McCarroll, Stanley, Sidney B., Frances and Martha Davis. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 56 on September 6th, 1860 in Brunswick County, NC.1 General Notes
