McCarroll Peurifoy 
McCarroll was born about 1802.1 McCarroll's father was William Peurifoy and his mother was Mary Brothers. His paternal grandparents were Thomas, Sr. Purifoy and UNKNOWN Sallie. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Archibald, Tillman, Stanley, Piercy, Sidney B., Frances and Martha Davis. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died in 1859 in Monroe County, Alabama.1 General Notes
