Francis Gause 
Francis was born on October 27th, 1830 in Georgia.1 Francis' father was William Bacot Gause and her mother was Piercy Peurifoy. Her paternal grandparents were William, Jr. Gause and Elizabeth Bacot; her maternal grandparents were William Peurifoy and Mary Brothers. She had five brothers named Benson Kennedy, Emory Purefoy, MacCarroll Bangs, Olen Bacot and Lucian Allston. She had five half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Thomas Frink, John William, Wesley Coke Asbury, Samuel Peter, William Fletcher, Elizabeth and Mary.-
