Samuel Peter Gause 
Samuel Peter was born in 1819.1 Samuel Peter's father was William Bacot Gause and his mother was Martha Frink. His paternal grandparents were William, Jr. Gause and Elizabeth Bacot. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Thomas Frink, John William, Wesley Coke Asbury, William Fletcher, Elizabeth and Mary. He had five half-brothers and a half-sister, named Benson Kennedy, Emory Purefoy, MacCarroll Bangs, Olen Bacot, Lucian Allston and Francis. He died at the age of 81 in 1900.1 -
