Olen Bacot Gause 
Olen Bacot was born on October 31st, 1836 in Georgia.1 Olen Bacot's father was William Bacot Gause and his mother was Piercy Peurifoy. His paternal grandparents were William, Jr. Gause and Elizabeth Bacot; his maternal grandparents were William Peurifoy and Mary Brothers. He had four brothers and a sister, named Benson Kennedy, Emory Purefoy, MacCarroll Bangs, Lucian Allston and Francis. He had five half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Thomas Frink, John William, Wesley Coke Asbury, Samuel Peter, William Fletcher, Elizabeth and Mary.
