Garland Lee Carter 
Garland Lee was born on January 8th, 1908.1 Garland Lee's father was Charles Edward Carter and his mother was Mary Elizabeth Keahey. His maternal grandparents were William A. Byrum Keahey and Isadora McGraw. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Orman Guy, Ben Franklin, Francis Marion, Royal Lester, Gertrude Estelle, Eddie Marie, Doris Lavine and Nettie Marguerite. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 49 on September 27th, 1957.1 General Notes
