Charles MARTIN 
Charles was born on October 17th, 1840. Charles' father was William MARTIN and his mother was Jane CHAMPERNOWNE. His paternal grandparents were Joseph MARTIN and Isabella Margaret STURGES; his maternal grandparents were Arthur Harington CHAMPERNOWNE and Louisa BULLER. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named William, Arthur, Richard, Francis, Alfred John, John Harington, Reginald, Caroline, (Anna) Frances, Mary Isabella, Anne and Louise Renira. He was the sixth youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 69 on February 23rd, 1910.General Notes
