John Harington MARTIN 
John Harington was born on February 11th, 1848. John Harington's father was William MARTIN and his mother was Jane CHAMPERNOWNE. His paternal grandparents were Joseph MARTIN and Isabella Margaret STURGES; his maternal grandparents were Arthur Harington CHAMPERNOWNE and Louisa BULLER. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named William, Arthur, Richard, Francis, Charles, Alfred John, Reginald, Caroline, (Anna) Frances, Mary Isabella, Anne and Louise Renira. He was the second youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 42 on January 17th, 1891. He was buried in Crete.General Notes
