Caroline MARTIN 
Caroline was born on June 17th, 1829 in Staverton, Devon and her baptism took place there on July 15th, 1829. Caroline's father was William MARTIN and her mother was Jane CHAMPERNOWNE. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph MARTIN and Isabella Margaret STURGES; her maternal grandparents were Arthur Harington CHAMPERNOWNE and Louisa BULLER. She had eight brothers and four sisters, named William, Arthur, Richard, Francis, Charles, Alfred John, John Harington, Reginald, (Anna) Frances, Mary Isabella, Anne and Louise Renira. She was the oldest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 94 on March 11th, 1924 in Totnes, Devon. She was buried in Staverton, Devon.General Notes
