Margaret COURTENAY 
Margaret was born in 1663 in Powderham, Devonshire, England.1 Margaret's father was William COURTENAY and her mother was Margaret WALLER. Her paternal grandparents were Francis COURTENAY and Elizabeth SEYMOUR; her maternal grandparents were William WALLER and Jane KEYNELL. She had nine brothers and seven sisters, named William, Francis, Edward, George, James, Richard, George, Henry, William, Lucy, Elizabeth, Isabell, Ann, Jane, Mary and Dorothy. She was the seventh youngest of the seventeen children. She died about 1755.1 General Notes
