Lucy COURTENAY 
Lucy was born in February 1649.1 Lucy's father was William COURTENAY and her mother was Margaret WALLER. Her paternal grandparents were Francis COURTENAY and Elizabeth SEYMOUR; her maternal grandparents were William WALLER and Jane KEYNELL. She had nine brothers and seven sisters, named William, Francis, Edward, George, James, Richard, George, Henry, William, Elizabeth, Isabell, Ann, Margaret, Jane, Mary and Dorothy. She was the oldest of the seventeen children. She died at the age of 44 on September 10th, 1693. She was buried in Upton Pines.1 1 General Notes
