Cornelis NEVIUS 
Cornelis was born on April 23rd, 1691 in Flatlands, Kings, New York, United States. Cornelis' father was Pieter (Peter) Nevius (Nefus) and his mother was Janetje (Jonica) Roelofse Schenck. His paternal grandparents were Joannes NEVIUS and Adriaentje BLEIJCK; his maternal grandparents were Roelof Martinse Schenck and Neeltje Gerretse Van Couwenhoven. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Johannes, Roeloff, Martinis (Martin), Pieter, David, Johannes, Aeltje, Aaltie, Neeltje, Arientje and Adriantje. He was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 69 in 1760 in Flatlands, Kings, NY.General Notes
