Cecily was born on May 3rd, 1415 in Raby, Durham, England.  Cecily's father was Ralph De Neville and her mother was Joan de Beaufort.  Her paternal grandparents were Sir John De Neville and Maud De Percy; her maternal grandparents were John Plantagenet and Cathrine Swynford de Roelt. She had eight brothers and six sisters, named Richard, Henry, William, Thomas, Cuthbert, Sir Edward, John, George, Joan, Katherine, Anne, Eleanor, Robert and Joan.  She was the second youngest of the fifteen children. She had two half-brothers and eight half-sisters, named Ralph, Sir John, Lady Philippa, Lady Alice, Lady Margaret, Lady Matilda, Elizabeth, Anna, Elizabeth and Mary.  She died at the age of 80 on May 31st, 1495 in Berkhamstead Castle, Hertsfordshire, England.

‌Cecily and Richard were married in a religious ceremony on October 18th, 1424.  They had eight sons and five daughters, named Edward IV, Edmund, William, John, George, Thomas, Richard III, Henry, Joan, Anne, Elizabeth, Margaret and Ursula.
