Charles III was born in Valois, France.  Charles III's father was Philip III "The Bold" Capet and his mother was Isabella of Aragón.  His paternal grandparents were St. Louis IX Capet and Marguerite Bâerenger; his maternal grandparents were Jaime I Pedrez "The Conqueror" and Yolande Violante. He had three brothers named Prince of France, Phillip IV "The Fair" and Prince of France. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Comte D'Evereaux and Marguerite Capet.  He died on December 16th, 1325 in Nogent-le-Roi, , France.
