Sarah C Butts 
Sarah C was born on February 12th, 1826. Sarah C's father was Thomas Newgent Butts and her mother was Catherine Gaines Broaddus. Her maternal grandparents were James Gaines Broaddus and Mary Ann Ferguson. She had three brothers and four sisters, named James M, William Mason, Thomas E, Ellen N, Ann Elizabeth, Martha F and Julia Amanda. She was the youngest of the eight children.
