Ann Elizabeth Butts

Ann Elizabeth was born in November 1806.  Ann Elizabeth's father was Thomas Newgent Butts and her mother was Catherine Gaines Broaddus.  Her maternal grandparents were James Gaines Broaddus and Mary Ann Ferguson. She had three brothers and four sisters, named James M, William Mason, Thomas E, Ellen N, Martha F, Julia Amanda and Sarah C.  She was the second oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 74 on August 12th, 1881.

‌Ann Elizabeth and Presto were married in a religious ceremony in 1836.
