Julia Amanda Butts 
Julia Amanda was born on October 27th, 1818 in Culpeper Co,Virginia. Julia Amanda's father was Thomas Newgent Butts and her mother was Catherine Gaines Broaddus. Her maternal grandparents were James Gaines Broaddus and Mary Ann Ferguson. She had three brothers and four sisters, named James M, William Mason, Thomas E, Ellen N, Ann Elizabeth, Martha F and Sarah C. She was the third youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 36 on January 27th, 1855 in Utica Missouri.-
