William Mason Butts 
William Mason was born on November 22nd, 1813. William Mason's father was Thomas Newgent Butts and his mother was Catherine Gaines Broaddus. His maternal grandparents were James Gaines Broaddus and Mary Ann Ferguson. He had two brothers and five sisters, named James M, Thomas E, Ellen N, Ann Elizabeth, Martha F, Julia Amanda and Sarah C. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 86 on October 24th, 1900.
‌William Mason and Matilda Jane were married in a religious ceremony on November 10th, 1843. They had two sons and two daughters, named John Alfred, James Albert, Sarah Jane and Susan Octavia.

Sarah Jane Butts
Sarah Jane was born on July 28th, 1848 in Howard,Missouri. She died at the age of 69 on February 4th, 1918 in Norman,Oklahoma. She was buried in I.O.O.F Cemetery,Norman,Oklahoma.
Susan Octavia Butts
Susan Octavia was born on January 21st, 1852. She died at the age of 32 on June 22nd, 1884.
James Albert Butts
James Albert was born on December 9th, 1853. He died at the age of 91 on May 6th, 1945.
