Sancho III Alfonsez of Castile, known as The desired, was born in 1134 in , Castilla, Castile.  The desired's father was King Alfonso VII Raimundez of Castile, Leon & Galicia and his mother was Berenguela Reimundez of Barcelona.  His paternal grandparents were Raimond of Bourgogne and Urraca Alfonsez of Castile; his maternal grandparents were Ct. Ramon III of Barcelona and Aldonza Dulcie of Provence. He had a brother named Fernando II Alfonsez of Leon.  He was the older of the two children. He had a half-sister named Urraca Alfonsez of Castile.  He died at the age of 24 on August 31st, 1158 in Toledo, Castile.


The desired's family with Blanca Garciez of Navarre

‌The desired and Blanca Garciez of Navarre were married in a religious ceremony on February 4th, 1151.  They had a son named The Noble.
