Isabel , Countess of Hertford was born about 1189 in of,Pembrokeshire,Wales and her baptism took place in April 1206 in ,St. David's,Pembrokeshire,Wales.1   Isabel , Countess of Hertford's father was William Marshall and her mother was Isabel Fitzgilbert De Clare.  Her paternal grandparents were John Fitz Gilbert Marshal and Sibilla d'Evereux; her maternal grandparents were Richard Strongbow Fitzgilbert de Clare and Eva (Aoife) McMurrough. She had five brothers and seven sisters, named Richard , Earl of Pembroke, Gilbert , Earl of Pembroke, William II, Anselm , Earl of Pembroke, Walter, Margaret, Sibyl, Maud (Matilda), Eve, Isabella, Joan and Sibyl.  She was the oldest of the thirteen children.  She died in Berkhamstead,Hertfordshire,England.  She was buried in Beaulieu,Southampton,England.1 1

‌Isabel , Countess of Hertford and Gilbert were married in a religious ceremony on October 9th, 1217 in Tewkesbury Abbey,Gloucestershire,England.2   They had three sons and four daughters, named Richard, William, Gilbert, Adeliza, Amicia, Isabel and Agnes.

‌Isabel , Countess of Hertford and Richard , Earl of Cornwall and Poitiers, Prince of England were married in a religious ceremony on March 30th, 1231 in Fawley,Buckinghamshire,England.  They had four sons and a daughter, named John, Henry, Nicholas, Richard and Isabel.
