Richard , Earl of Pembroke was born in 1194 in of Pembroke,Pembrokeshire,Wales and his baptism took place in LLZR-3J.1 Richard , Earl of Pembroke's father was William Marshall and his mother was Isabel Fitzgilbert De Clare. His paternal grandparents were John Fitz Gilbert Marshal and Sibilla d'Evereux; his maternal grandparents were Richard Strongbow Fitzgilbert de Clare and Eva (Aoife) McMurrough. He had four brothers and eight sisters, named Gilbert , Earl of Pembroke, William II, Anselm , Earl of Pembroke, Walter, Isabel , Countess of Hertford, Margaret, Sibyl, Maud (Matilda), Eve, Isabella, Joan and Sibyl. He was the fifth oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 40 on April 16th, 1234 in Kilkenny,Castle,Kildare,Ireland.
