George Haynes Gordon 
George Haynes was born on March 27th, 1796 in , Halifax, North Carolina. George Haynes' father was John Gordon and his mother was Anna Haynes. His paternal grandfather was John Gordon; his maternal grandparents were Francis Bythell Haynes and Anne Bell. He had five brothers and six sisters, named John, James, Thomas, William, Joseph, Nancy Ann, Mary Margaret, Elizabeth, Lucy, Elizabeth and Sarah. He was the second youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 50 in January 1847.-
