Arthur was born in 1898.  Arthur's father was John (Urn) Urwin Howson and his mother was Caroline George.  His paternal grandparents were Robert (Spinaway) Howson and Jane Ann Urwin. He had four brothers and a sister, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Robert, Frederick, John, Harold, Elsie and <Unknown>.  He was the youngest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 5 in 1903 in Fremantle.  The funeral was arranged by Arthur E Davies & Co, Market St, Freemantle.  He was buried on May 15th, 1903 in Wesleyan portion of the Fremantle Cemetery.1
