Alfred Sheen Howson

Alfred was born in 1869 in Bishopwearmouth , Durham.¹ Alfred's father was Robert (Spinaway) Howson and his mother was Jane Ann Urwin. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Howson and Jane Dankin. He had four brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Urn, James, Edward and Mary. He was the fifth oldest of the six children. He had three half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Edmund, William, Henry, <Unknown>, Eva, Olive, Adeline and Gladys.
