William Longespee (3rd Earl Of Salisbury) 
William was born in 1152. William's father was Henry II “Curmantle” (King of England) and his mother was Ida de Tosny (later m. Roger Bigod). His paternal grandparents were Geoffrey V Plantagenet (Count of Anjou) and Matilda (Holy Roman Empress); his maternal grandparents were Ralph de Tosny and Margaret de Beaumont. He had seven half-brothers and three half-sisters, named William, Henry, Coeur de Lion, Geoffrey, Lackland, Geoffrey, Morgan, Matilda, Eleanor and Joan. He died at the age of 74 in 1226.-
