Sarah's father was John Howarth and her mother was Silence  Duckworth. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Dennis, Jacob, John, James, Jane, Alice, Ann, Helen, Silence and Sarah.  Silence and Sarah were twins.  She died at 10 months old in May 1771 in Haslingden.  She was buried on May 21st, 1771 in Haslingden.¹
