Michael Stapleton 
Michael was born on June 25th, 1898 in Knockboy, Buolick. Michael's father was Patrick Stapleton and his mother was Ellen Bartley. His paternal grandparents were William Stapleton and Margaret Nowlan; his maternal grandparents were Michael Bartley and Mary Manton. He had five brothers and two sisters, named William, Patrick, James, John, Richard, Margaret and Mary. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 88 on January 23rd, 1987 in Ballysloe, Tipperary.-
