Margaret and William were married in a religious ceremony on February 24th, 1868 in New Birmingham. They had two sons and three daughters, named Philip, Patrick, Margaret, Bridget and Mary.

Mary was born on May 19th, 1873 in Knockboy and her baptism took place on May 20th, 1873 in Gortnahoe. She died due to Acute Bronchitis at the age of 63 on October 24th, 1936 in Ballianstick.
