Dr Patrick Mudie

Patrick was born in 1780 in Arbroath, Angus, Scotland and his baptism took place there on March 4th, 1780.

Patrick's father was Dr John Mudie and his mother was Mrs Catherine Sandeman Thomson. His paternal grandparents were Mr William Mudie and Mrs Margaret Mann. He had a brother named William. He was the older of the two children. He had four half-brothers and eight half-sisters, named John, David, George, Henry, Margaret, Elizabeth, Alison, Mary, Jean, Anna, Isabella and Catherine. He died at the age of 71 in 1851.
