Ms Isabella Mudie

Isabella was born on February 13th, 1799 in Arbroath, Angus, Scotland and her baptism took place there on February 26th, 1799.

Isabella's father was Dr John Mudie and her mother was Mrs Margaret Baxter. Her paternal grandparents were Mr William Mudie and Mrs Margaret Mann. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named John, David, George, Henry, Margaret, Elizabeth, Alison, Mary, Jean, Anna and Catherine. She was the third youngest of the twelve children. She had two half-brothers named Patrick and William.
