Mrs Alison Mudie

Alison was born on August 26th, 1787 in Arbroath, Angus, Scotland and her baptism took place there on September 2nd, 1787.

Alison's father was Dr John Mudie and her mother was Mrs Margaret Baxter. Her paternal grandparents were Mr William Mudie and Mrs Margaret Mann. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named John, David, George, Henry, Margaret, Elizabeth, Mary, Jean, Anna, Isabella and Catherine. She was the third oldest of the twelve children. She had two half-brothers named Patrick and William.
