Mr George Mudie

George was born on June 13th, 1797 in Arbroath, Angus, Scotland and his baptism took place there on June 27th, 1797.

George's father was Dr John Mudie and his mother was Mrs Margaret Baxter. His paternal grandparents were Mr William Mudie and Mrs Margaret Mann. He had three brothers and eight sisters, named John, David, Henry, Margaret, Elizabeth, Alison, Mary, Jean, Anna, Isabella and Catherine. He was the fourth youngest of the twelve children. He had two half-brothers named Patrick and William. He died at the age of 42 on March 24th, 1840 in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, India. He was buried on March 28th, 1840 in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, India.
