Elizabeth was born in 1812.  Elizabeth's father was William Hodge Boalch and her mother is Phoebe Litton.  Her paternal grandparents are John Boalch and Mary Hodge. She had three brothers and three sisters, named John, Robert, William, Mary, Ann and Sarah.  She is the youngest of the seven children.
