Louise was born in 1875.  Louise's father was Frederick_VIII and her mother was Louise of_Sweden.  Her paternal grandparents were Christian_IX and Louise of_Hesse-Cassel; her maternal grandparents were Charles_XV and Louise.  She was the third of eight children.  She had four brothers and three sisters, named Christian_X, Charles Haakon_VII, Harold, Gustav, Ingeborg of_Denmark, Thyra and Dagmar.  She died at the age of 31 in 1906.
