Charles_XV was born on May 3rd, 1826 in Stockholm,Sweden.  Charles_XV's father was Oscar_I and his mother was Josephine de_Beauharnais.  His paternal grandparents were Charles_XIV John and Desiree; his maternal grandparents were Eugene of_Leuchtenberg de_Beauharnais and Augusta of_Bavaria.  He was the oldest of two children.  He had a brother named Oscar_II.  He died at the age of 46 on August 19th, 1872 in Malmo.  His burial was in Stockholm,Sweden.
