Frederick was born on August 16th, 1763 in St. James Palace,London,England.  Frederick's father was George_III Hanover and his mother was (Sophia) Charlotte.  His paternal grandparents were Frederick Louis Hanover and Augusta of_Saxe-Gotha; his maternal grandparents were Charles Louis Frederick and Elizabeth of_Saxe- Hildburghausen Albertin.  He was the second of fifteen children.  He had eight brothers and six sisters, named George_IV, William_IV Henry, Edward Augustus, Ernest Augustus_I, Augustus Frederick, Adolphus of_Cambridge, Octavius, Alfred, Charlotte Augusta Matilda, Augusta Sophia, Elizabeth, Mary, Sophia and Amelia.  He died at the age of 63 on January 5th, 1827 in Rutland House,Arlington St.,London,England.
