Amelia was born on August 7th, 1783 in Royal Lodge,Windsor,Berkshire,England.  Amelia's father was George_III Hanover and her mother was (Sophia) Charlotte.  Her paternal grandparents were Frederick Louis Hanover and Augusta of_Saxe-Gotha; her maternal grandparents were Charles Louis Frederick and Elizabeth of_Saxe- Hildburghausen Albertin.  She was the youngest of fifteen children.  She had nine brothers and five sisters, named George_IV, Frederick, William_IV Henry, Edward Augustus, Ernest Augustus_I, Augustus Frederick, Adolphus of_Cambridge, Octavius, Alfred, Charlotte Augusta Matilda, Augusta Sophia, Elizabeth, Mary and Sophia.  She died at the age of 27 on November 2nd, 1810 in Augusta Lodge,Windsor,Berkshire,England.
