Edward Augustus was born on November 2nd, 1767 in Buckingham House,,London,England.  Edward Augustus' father was George_III Hanover and his mother was (Sophia) Charlotte.  His paternal grandparents were Frederick Louis Hanover and Augusta of_Saxe-Gotha; his maternal grandparents were Charles Louis Frederick and Elizabeth of_Saxe- Hildburghausen Albertin.  He was the fifth of fifteen children.  He had eight brothers and six sisters, named George_IV, Frederick, William_IV Henry, Ernest Augustus_I, Augustus Frederick, Adolphus of_Cambridge, Octavius, Alfred, Charlotte Augusta Matilda, Augusta Sophia, Elizabeth, Mary, Sophia and Amelia.  He died at the age of 52 on January 23rd, 1820 in Sidmouth,Devon,,England.
