Augustus Frederick was born on January 27th, 1773 in Buckingham House.  Augustus Frederick's father was George_III Hanover and his mother was (Sophia) Charlotte.  His paternal grandparents were Frederick Louis Hanover and Augusta of_Saxe-Gotha; his maternal grandparents were Charles Louis Frederick and Elizabeth of_Saxe- Hildburghausen Albertin.  He was the nineth of fifteen children.  He had eight brothers and six sisters, named George_IV, Frederick, William_IV Henry, Edward Augustus, Ernest Augustus_I, Adolphus of_Cambridge, Octavius, Alfred, Charlotte Augusta Matilda, Augusta Sophia, Elizabeth, Mary, Sophia and Amelia.  He died at the age of 70 on April 21st, 1843 in Kensington Palac.
