George_III was born on June 4th, 1738 in Norfolk-House,St. James Square,London,England.  George_III's father was Frederick Louis Hanover and his mother was Augusta of_Saxe-Gotha.  His paternal grandparents were George_II Hanover and Caroline of_Ansbach; his maternal grandparents were Frederick_II of_Saxe-Gotha and Magdalena Augusta of_Anhalt-Zerbst.  He was the second of nine children.  He had four brothers and four sisters, named Edward Augustus, Edward Henry of_Gloucester, Henry Frederick of_Cumberland, Frederick William, Augusta, Elizabeth Caroline, Louisa Anne and Caroline Matilda.  He died at the age of 81 on January 29th, 1820 in Windsor Castle,Windsor,Berkshire,England.  His burial was in St. George Chap.,Windsor Castle,Berkshire,England.
