Rose, known as Rosie, was born on September 13th, 1918 in Brookline, Massachussets.  Rosie's father was Joseph P. Kennedy and her mother was Rose Elizabeth Fitzgerald.  Her paternal grandfather was Patrick J. Kennedy and her paternal grandmother is Mary Augusta Hickey; her maternal grandparents are John F. Fitzgerald and Josephine Hannon.  She had four brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, John, Bobby, Ted, Kick, Eunice, Patricia and Jean.  She was the third oldest of the nine children.  She died due to natural causes or old age at the age of 86 on January 7th, 2005 in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin.
