Raymond was born on April 25th, 1915.  Raymond's father was Joseph Lambert Gaspar and his mother was Anna Elizabeth Wieseler.  His paternal grandparents were Lampert Gaspard and Julia Meyer; his maternal grandparents were Henry Wieseler and Renata Schmidt.  He had four brothers and five sisters, named Isidore, Leo, Michael, Harry, Renata, Mary, Magdalen, Florence and Leona.  He was the second oldest of the ten children.  He died from cancer at the age of 87 on December 12th, 2002 in Dell Rapids, SD.  His burial was in Huntimer Cemetary.

Raymond and Frances were married. They had two sons and three daughters, named Dennis, Jerome, Judith, Carol and Patricia.
