Michael was born on November 22nd, 1924.  Michael's father was Joseph Lambert Gaspar and his mother was Anna Elizabeth Wieseler.  His paternal grandparents were Lampert Gaspard and Julia Meyer; his maternal grandparents were Henry Wieseler and Renata Schmidt.  He had four brothers and five sisters, named Raymond, Isidore, Leo, Harry, Renata, Mary, Magdalen, Florence and Leona.  He was the seventh oldest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 76 on November 2nd, 2001.

Michael and Madelyn were married. They had five sons and two daughters, named Timothy, Terrance, Ronald, Paul, Joseph, Connie and Janice.
