Leo was born on November 10th, 1917.  Leo's father was Joseph Lambert Gaspar and his mother was Anna Elizabeth Wieseler.  His paternal grandparents were Lampert Gaspard and Julia Meyer; his maternal grandparents were Henry Wieseler and Renata Schmidt.  He had four brothers and five sisters, named Raymond, Isidore, Michael, Harry, Renata, Mary, Magdalen, Florence and Leona.  He was the fourth oldest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 89 on November 29th, 2006 in Sioux Falls, SD.  The funeral took place on December 2nd, 2006 in Holy Spirit Catholic Church and was arranged by Heritage Funeral Home.  His burial was on December 2nd, 2006 in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dell Rapids, SD.1 1

Leo and Fayola were married. They had two sons and a daughter, named Stephen, Gary and Carole.

Stephen was born on May 13th, 1955.  He died at the age of 13 on December 13th, 1968.

Male Gary Gaspar
Gary was born on November 24th, 1957.

Female Carole Jean Gaspar
Carole was born on December 10th, 1962.
