Florence was born on February 14th, 1926.  Florence's father was Joseph Lambert Gaspar and her mother was Anna Elizabeth Wieseler.  Her paternal grandparents were Lampert Gaspard and Julia Meyer; her maternal grandparents were Henry Wieseler and Renata Schmidt.  She had five brothers and four sisters, named Raymond, Isidore, Leo, Michael, Harry, Renata, Mary, Magdalen and Leona.  She is the eighth oldest of the ten children.
