Susan was born on June 1st, 1952.  Susan's father is Ralph Bode and her mother is Irene Gaspar.  Her maternal grandfather was John  (Bill) William Gaspar and her maternal grandmother is Veronica (Fron) Hardes.  She has two brothers and three sisters, named Steven, Robert, Barbera, Sandra and Mary.  She is the fourth oldest of the six children.
