Steven was born on March 11th, 1950.  Steven's father is Ralph Bode and his mother is Irene Gaspar.  His maternal grandfather was John  (Bill) William Gaspar and his maternal grandmother is Veronica (Fron) Hardes.  He has a brother and four sisters, named Robert, Mary, Susan, Sandra and Barbera.  He is the third oldest of the six children.
