William Highmore Tembey

William Highmore was born in March 1884 in Cleator Moor, Cumberland. William Highmore's father was Samuel Tembey and his mother was Catherine Ann Highmore. His paternal grandparents were Christopher Tembey and Mary Ann Moyle; his maternal grandparents are Thomas Highmore and Mary Tunstall. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Thomas Lambert, Christopher, Samuel, Nicholas, John, Robert Henry, Joseph Highmore, Mary Elizabeth, Isabella Ostle, Sarah Alice and Catherine Ada. He was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 17 on October 20th, 1901. His burial was in Christ Church, Broughton.
